Confirmation at St. Charles is not a graduation! Here, we strive to create a dynamic and engaging two year program that is sure to keep your teens on their toes in faith and encourage them to step into their call as disciples for a lifetime. All 9th-11th grade students are welcome to register!

The cold hard facts: It’s a commitment. There is no way around it. You will have to rearrange schedules and dedicate time to fulfill the requirements and sometimes make sacrifices with sports and social outings. This is just the reality! But, with that being said, it is only two years, and your teen will leave here with a solid understanding of his/her faith, lifelong friendships built on Christ, and a true sense of belonging to a loving community. 

Now what? Now that you have an overview, join us at the Information Meeting in August to review the requirements, ask questions and make a decision. Or, if you know you are ready, fill out the forms below and we’ll see you at the Orientation Meeting in September!

Requirements: A quick look
MUST attend weekly mass 
     † St. Charles has a new weekly YOUTH MASS Sundays at 5:30 p.m. Come as a family!
2 Years of Catechesis (42 total meetings)
     † Classes run from September-April
     † Meeting days/times: Sunday before Youth Mass from 3:30-5:00 p.m. 
2 Retreats (1 per year)
     † First year retreat in the Fall (of first year entering the program)
     † Second year retreat in the Spring (of Confirmation year)
6 Parish Activities 
     † Classified as any event put on by the parish, or through the parish
6 YM Life Nights
     † Students must register for both Confirmation AND Youth Ministry
     † Life Nights are from 7-8:30 p.m. on Sunday nights after the Youth Mass
24 Hours of Community Service
     † There are many service opportunities throughout the year, and you will be able to see a listing regularly on this site.
