For Sacraments information click here Children from 7 to 18 years old who have not been baptized or received First Eucharist will participate in the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults [adapted for children]). It is also referred to as Children of the Catechumenate. There is a two-year process of preparation that begins in the fall. Parents are expected to support their children in their initiation journey by attending semi-monthly formation sessions and participating in weekly parish liturgies with their children.
