Ministries: Women's Ministries 

W.I.N.G.S. is a faith enhancement group of women from St. Michael and St. Charles parishes that encourages spiritual growth through prayer, scripture study, catechesis, faith sharing, outreach and fellowship. Women of all ages come together weekly to grow in our relationships with God and each other. Through speakers and small group sharing, women are given the opportunity to discern the movement of God in our lives, form friendships, pray, and be strengthened and affirmed by the support of our Christian sisters and the Holy Spirit.

Gatherings are held on Thursdays at St. Charles during the school year from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. The year is divided into three seasons: Fall is "Faith Formation". Winter is women's Bible study; Spring is "Faith Focus," challenging us to discern ways of putting our faith into practice at home and in community.

The W.I.N.G.S. theme for 2009-10 is "Mentors, Teachers & Shepherds". Join us to hear interesting speakers on this topic and study what the Bible says to us as we try to be women of faith ourselves through the program: Women Like Us - Wisdom for Today's Issues during the Bible Study season. The Spring speakers will share faith stories about spirituality, family relationships, personal growth, social and church issues.

Special events such as brunch, Mass and prayer services are held occasionally throughout the year.

The St. Charles Women's Group - Amazing Graces comes together in a spirit of prayer and sharing at meetings with special activities, demonstrations or guest speakers and at an annual woman's retreat, the Christmas Cookie Exchange and Springtime Victorian tea. Amazing Graces coordinate funeral receptions when requested. All women of St. Charles are invited to join this special fellowship ministry.
