Ministries: Social and Fellowship

"Love your fellow Christians always. Do not neglect to show your hospitality."
Hebrews 13:1-3

Caring for their members and the parish are the following organizations who gather in a social setting:

Age of Grace and Wisdom meets once-a-month for a potluck luncheon, held at 12:00 PM in Borromeo Hall on the fourth Wednesday of the month, January through October. Each gathering is open to all parishioners and their guests who are 50 years of age and older. Gatherings have a theme with entertainment, games, guest speaker or participant sharing. Parishioners and guests are asked to bring a salad, main dish or dessert to share. Reminders are on the monthly calendar and announced at masses and in the bulletin.

The Men's Club - A-MEN gathers once a month to socialize,  listen to guest speakers, discuss service projects and share their faith. Men's Club holds its meetings from September to June of each year. Their gatherings are on the first Monday of the month and begin at 7:30 PM and include socializing. Dates and locations of meetings are announced in the bulletin and on the monthly calendar. The Club encourages and welcomes all men of the parish to participate, suggest activities and projects, and share their skills and talents for the benefit of the parish community. The Men's Club also organizes and sponsors social and fund-raising activities.  Face Book Link.

The Refreshment Committee organizes, serves and provides food and beverages, which are paid for by St. Charles, for special events in the parish, such as the Communal Reconciliation Services, Confirmation and reception following the Easter Vigil. This ministry does not meet on a regular basis. Most communication is done by phone calls, e-mail or a letter, which is sent to all committee members. Sign-ups are welcomed during the annual Stewardship Faire.
